Engagement Shoot: Racquel and Wilford

This was one of the best out of town engagement shoots I have gone to. Baler has really good food and this cove is just beyond gorgeous! To top it off, the bride to be wore Francis Libiran gowns that best suit the awe-inspiring shoot venue.

The first day was more of a laid back shoot since most of us were already tired from the travel. But the photos were as lovely anyway.

The second day was the day she wore gowns. And they looked superb!

wilfraq-6006

This is my favourite shot of the whole engagement shoot! She wanted her make-up to be as simple as possible so I just opted to keep thing light and just define her brows and eyes and give her pinky nude lips.

Bap & Kimbo Engagement Shoot

Sharing with you a few photos from the engagement shoot of my very good friend, Bap and her husband, Kimbo.

Bap-bap has been a really good friend of mine since I was in college and I’m very much honored and happy to be doing her hair and make-up for her engagement shoot and also for her wedding. It’s been years -literally- since I have last spent time with her since she now lives in Australia. The last time I saw her, her son, Zavion was barely a year old so this whole experience was such a blessing for me to have. I got to spend time with her and my godson (Zavion) as well as her husband.

Anyway, here are a few of the photos I personally took while their engagement session was on going.

That genuine smile, they both look so happy here!

Rockin those boots! Love her laid back style. ๐Ÿ™‚

This was before the most fun part of their engagement shoot..

Yep, it got messy at the end of the shoot but it sure did look like a lot of fun!

DISCLAIMER: I am by no chance a professional photographer so please excuse me if some of the shots not exactly the best. Hahaha!

Jazzy France: Lustrous Lip Gloss

I read about this lip gloss in one of the facebook groups last month. The post said that it was a close dupe to one of the kylie lip kits. Now, I’m not exactly sure about that since I don’t have any of the kylie lip kits but that post sure made me curious about the Jazzy France lip gloss. And so decided to get one as soon I could.

This is what the box looked like:

And these are photos of the lip gloss itself:

This is a photo of the swatches I did on the back of my hand when I bought it.

Note: This was after a good hand wash..

I have have been using this lip gloss for a good 3 weeks now and, I must say, I am very much impressed.

The first time I used it was on a long and busy day. It was a Sunday and I had 3 clients lined up. The first client was at 12nn and the next 2 were at 3pm. My 3pm gig was a debut so I would naturally end pretty late. Prior to all of these, I wanted to go to mass. so the need for a long wearing make-up was high. I decided that it was the best time to put this gloss to the test.

After my long day, I decided to check on the lip gloss and saw no budge. The color just got lighter in the slightest way. I couldn’t believe that it was still there even after eating and drinking and sweating. I was just too impressed and knew that I have to talk about it.

This product cost me just P299.00 (about $6-7 in case anyone is wondering) and I would have to say it is definitely worth it. I love the wear because it isn’t drying at all on the lips. It does not become crumbly at the end of the day (which I have experienced in some matte liquid lipsticks. There are 2 things I don’t like about this product though: That it is called a “lip gloss” instead of a “liquid lipstick” and That the color selection are mostly dark shades.

Overall, I love this product! It’s totally worth buying and spending money on. The formula is good, it’s affordable, it’s longwearing and not at all drying on the lips.

Bridal Client: Yentl Tan-Yuzon

Sharing with you a few photos of one of my bridal clients last year, Yentl Tan-Yuzon.

DSC_5454The brides’ request was simple. She just wanted light make-up and very light eyebrows. With her flawless skin, it was very much easy to do. ๐Ÿ™‚

Pretty Bridesmaids

Sharing with you the make-up I did for 4 beautiful bridesmaids last month!…unfiltered and unedited. ๐Ÿ™‚

The first one is Angel. She has such a sweet face and a very bubbly personality. She’s so fun to be around!

The second one is Eunice, she has such a beautiful skin! I am always a fan of tanned skin and they are my favourite skin tones to work with.

This is Alysha, she’s only 15 years old. She request for me not to clean up her brows but I honestly think that her brow shape is gorgeous! I did a simple make-up for this pretty teenager.

Lastly, I have Keeshy. The very creative maid of honor and wedding coordinator of that wedding. So kindhearted and so artsy.

As always, I had so much fun making pretty faces even more pretty!

Bridal Client: Ayi Mamadra-Tataro

One of my closest guy friends got married last Novmeber (2015) and his then fiance asked me to her make-up. My answer was ofcourse a big Yes!

I have done Ayi’s make-up for a few times now so this came quite easy for me. I was very happy and honored to play a role on their special day.

JEN-1145.jpgHere I am doing touch ups on the beautiful bride’s hair.

One of the special guests that day is Rianne (she’s the one closely watching what I was doing). She’s a huge fan of make-up and is very much into watching youtube tutorials.

Ellesse Philippines Together we play launch at Bonifacio High Street

Ellesse, a luxurious line of sports apparel, founded and made popular in Italy has finally made its way here in the Philippines. The brand name, Ellesse, derives from the initials of its founder, Leonardo Servadio (L.S.). Among the great number of sportswear that Ellesse is know for are tennis & Ski attires. The brand also aims to bring about friendship & camaraderie in the world of sports via comfortable and stylish sports clothes, hence the tag line “Together we play.”.

I was definitely happy to have been invited to do Hair and Make-up for the models on their store launch in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig last May 29, 2014.

Being a high end brand, most of the guests that were invited are VIPs. Ranging from high fashion models, Artists, Popular Bloggers and even an Italian Ambassador. Unfortunately, my bad memory can not summon to remember most of the names – my bad.

So anyway, here are some (two to be specific) pictures from the event.

Image

All three models in their last look for the event. There were 3 looks but things were a bit too busy so I couldn’t take as much photos.

With Fabiana, my favorite model, in her first look for the event. It’s unbelievable how pretty, nice and down to earth this model is!

I’m hoping to find more photos of that event online so I can post/share more to you guys but I guess this will do for now. ๐Ÿ™‚

It was, again, a fun and worth it experience and I always feel happy and blessed to be given opportunities such as this.

‘Till next time! Ciao!

The Sun & Style Fashion Show at Mega Fashion Hall

Last May 25, 2014, I was privileged enough to do Hair and Make-up for a summer fashion show involving so many top brands and I (as always) was very much excited! It was my first ever fashion show gig and I really do feel blessed to have been a part of this big event.

The fashion show involved many premium brands under the primer group of companies. Such as: Quiksilver, Roxy, Oneil, mountain hardware, columbia, eddie bauer, ellesse, volcom, DC and others. Was so hyped just hearing about the brands involved and that the event with be at the mega fashion hall!

Just to share more, here are a few pictures from that event:

Image

The first photo is from the first segment while the second photo was from the last segment. There were 4 segments with not more than 5 mins interval each. – Can you tell we were too busy to take photos? Hahaha!

Image

Among all models, Fabiana was my favorite. She’s so pretty and she’s super nice too!

Me (and my serious face) during touch ups. Hahaha!

No event would be complete without my mom grabbing a photo with the models. LOL!

Here’s the rest of my team -monopod-ing- with the very beautiful host, Janeena Chan.

From L-R: Joan, Janeena, Doreen, Kristina, Me & my mo (Miriam).

As always, we all had a lot of fun!
